Fee for Service Academy exists to help dental practice owners successfully transition toward a thriving fee-for-service practice through proven strategies, coaching, accountability, and community. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience built on professionalism, respect, transparency, and trust.

1. Eligibility & Qualification

Participation in Fee for Service Academy is subject to our qualification process.

Submitting an inquiry, application, assessment, scheduling a consultation, or paying for an evaluation does not guarantee acceptance into any coaching program.

We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our sole discretion if we determine that our program is not an appropriate fit for a particular practice or situation.

2. Our Services

Fee for Service Academy provides professional coaching and consulting services designed to assist dental practices in transitioning away from insurance participation and building stronger fee-for-service practices.

Our services may include:

  • Practice assessments
  • Individual coaching
  • Group coaching
  • Consulting
  • Workshops
  • Educational resources
  • Templates, calculators, and implementation tools
  • Faculty guidance
  • Accountability meetings
  • Private community access
  • Ongoing support throughout the coaching process

Specific services included in your enrollment will depend on the program you purchase.

3. Client Responsibilities

Successful coaching requires active participation.

By participating in Fee for Service Academy, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Participate professionally during coaching sessions and meetings.
  • Communicate honestly and respectfully.
  • Complete agreed-upon action items between coaching sessions.
  • Maintain responsibility for decisions made within your own practice.
  • Respect the time, expertise, and guidance of our faculty, consultants, and fellow members.

While we provide education, guidance, accountability, and proven systems, implementation ultimately remains your responsibility.

4. Confidentiality Between Members

Our coaching programs encourage open discussion and collaboration among dental professionals.

During coaching sessions, workshops, meetings, or within our private community, you may become aware of confidential information relating to another member’s practice.

By participating in Fee for Service Academy, you agree to respect the confidentiality of other members and not disclose another participant’s business information, financial information, strategies, or other confidential materials without their express permission.

Maintaining a trusted community benefits every member.

5. Community Standards

We strive to maintain a professional, supportive, and collaborative learning environment.

Members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward faculty, consultants, staff, and fellow participants.

Fee for Service Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation, without refund where permitted by law, for behavior that is abusive, disruptive, discriminatory, threatening, dishonest, or otherwise inconsistent with the values of our community.

6. Payments & Refunds

Program fees, payment schedules, and enrollment terms will be provided before purchase.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments are due according to the enrollment agreement associated with your program.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Fee for Service Academy.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees eligibility for a refund.

7. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you consent to receive text messages from Fee for Service Academy.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any products or services.

Types of Messages

Messages may include:

  • Qualification appointment reminders
  • Consultation confirmations
  • Coaching session reminders
  • Scheduling updates
  • Application or enrollment updates
  • Client support responses
  • Important program announcements related to your participation
 
Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your participation in our coaching programs, consultations, qualification process, appointments, and support requests.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message, after which no additional messages will be sent unless you choose to opt in again.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will never be shared with any third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Fee for Service Academy—including but not limited to coaching frameworks, methodologies, playbooks, worksheets, templates, calculators, assessments, videos, recordings, presentations, graphics, documents, educational resources, written materials, and other content—are the exclusive intellectual property of Fee for Service Academy and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Enrollment grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials solely within your own dental practice.

You may:

  • Download materials for your own use.
  • Print materials for implementation within your own practice.
  • Share materials internally with members of your own team who are involved in implementing the FFSA methodology.

You may not:

  • Share materials with other dentists or dental practices.
  • Upload materials or recordings to public or shared websites, cloud storage, forums, or social media.
  • Sell, license, distribute, or reproduce our materials.
  • Use FFSA materials, recordings, or methodologies to coach, consult, teach, or train others outside your own practice.
  • Remove copyright notices or represent FFSA materials as your own.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in immediate termination of access and any other remedies available under applicable law.

9. Coaching Session Recordings

Certain coaching sessions, workshops, or meetings may be recorded for quality assurance, documentation, educational purposes, and to provide participating clients with access to session recordings.

By participating in recorded sessions, you acknowledge that you may appear in those recordings.

Session recordings are provided solely for the educational use of participating clients and authorized members of their practice.

Recordings may not be copied, redistributed, publicly displayed, shared outside the participating practice, or used for commercial or training purposes without our prior written permission.

10. No Guarantee of Results

Every dental practice is unique.

While many members successfully transition toward a fee-for-service practice using our coaching, strategies, and systems, individual results vary based on numerous factors including implementation, market conditions, practice characteristics, team participation, financial circumstances, and client commitment.

For this reason, Fee for Service Academy does not guarantee any specific financial, operational, clinical, or business outcome.

Any testimonials, case studies, or success stories represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fee for Service Academy, its owners, faculty, consultants, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your participation in our programs or use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific program or service giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.

When updates are made, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be revised.

Your continued use of our website or participation in our services after those updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
